In 4 sections:

Major Section: Open to 1800/up. $1500-800-400-200, clear or tiebreak 1st $100, top Under 2250 $600-300.

Under 2050 Section: $1000-500-250-150, top Under 1850/Unr $510-260.

Under 1650 Section: $800-400-200-100, top Under 1450 (no unrated) $420-210.  No unrated may win over $400.

Under 1250 Section: $500-250-150-100, plaques to first 3, top Under 1000, Under 800, Under 600, Unr.  No unrated may win over $200.  

Balance of any limited prize goes to next player(s) in line.

Mixed doubles bonus prizes: best male/female 2-player “team” combined score among all sections: $200-100. Team average rating must be under 2200; may play in different sections; teams must register (no extra fee) by 2 pm 8/17.

Top 3 sections entry fee: $93 online at chessaction.com by 8/14, 3-day $98, 2-day $97 mailed by 8/7, $110 at site, or online until 2 hours before round 1. Online or mailed EF $15 less to Fresno Chess Club members. No checks at site, credit cards OK.

Under 1250 Section entry fee: All $30 less than above.

GMs, IMs & WGMs free, $80 deducted from prize.

All: Special 1 year USCF dues with paper magazine if paid with entry: online at chesstour.com, Adult $35, Young Adult $22, Scholastic $15.  Mailed or paid at site, Adult $40, Young Adult $25, Scholastic $17. USCF membership required.

For all tournaments, adjusted FIDE or foreign ratings, if higher than USCF, may be used. Players must disclose FIDE or foreign ratings when entering, or may later be expelled. Other over the board ratings such as club, league, scholastic, state or province, etc, adjusted if appropriate, may be used at our discretion if above USCF.  No rating below the latest official USCF rating, on the list corresponding to the ending date of the tournament, will be used. For 9 round events offering title norm possibilities, FIDE ratings are used. Click here for further details.

Ratings: August official USCF ratings used. Unofficial uschess.org ratings usually used if otherwise unrated. Players must reveal foreign, FIDE and other over the board ratings, and these ratings, adjusted if necessary, may be used, if higher than USCF. See also above. 

Re-entry $60; not available in Major Section.

3-day schedule: Reg. ends Fri 6 pm, Rounds Fri 7 pm, Sat 11 am & 5 pm, Sun 10 am & 3:30 pm.
2-day schedule: Reg. ends Sat 10 am, Rounds 11 am, 2 pm & 5 pm, Sun 10 am & 3:30 pm.
Half point byes: OK all rounds, limit 2 byes; limit 1 bye if eligible for class money; must commit before rd 2.

$134-134, 559-268-1000, request chess rate, reserve by 8/2 or rate may increase.
