June 24-26. 3rd annual World Open Senior Amateur. 5 round Swiss, 40/2, SD/1, Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel, 17th & Race Streets, Philadelphia PA 19103. Open to all born before 6/27/61 and rated under 2010 or unrated.

Prizes $2000 based on 35 entries, else in proportion except $1000 minimum guaranteed: $500-250-125, Under 1810 $300-150, Under 1610/Unr $250-125, Under 1410 $200-100.

Entry fee: $68 mailed by 6/15, $70 online at chesstour.com by 6/22, $75 phoned to 406-896-2038 by 6/22, $80 at site.

Late reg. ends 6:30 pm 6/24 (NOT 6/23), rds. Fri 7 pm, Sat 11 & 6, Sun 10 & 4:30.
Half point byes: OK all, limit 2 byes if 1810/over, limit 1 bye otherwise, must commit before rd 2.

USCF membership required.  Special 1 year USCF dues with paper magazine if paid with entry: Online at chesstour.com, Adult or Senior age 65/over $30. Mailed, phoned or paid at site, Adult $40, Senior age 65/over $35. 

Hotel rates, parking, mailed entries: See World Open.  However, ROOMS ARE NOW APPARENTLY SOLD OUT for June 24 and 25 at the Sheraton, and most or all other downtown hotels with rates under $250 or so.
