NORTH AMERICAN OPEN AT BALLY'S LAS VEGAS: The chess
rate for hotel rooms has been reduced from $96 per night to $69, a savings of
$27 per night! If you have already reserved at the $96 chess rate, your
rate will be changed to $69. If you have reserved with a service offering
some other rate that his higher than the $69 chess rate, please call
800-833-3308, obtain the $69 chess rate, and cancel the higher rate reservation,
so that you save money and the chess tournament gets credit for your room!
GOLDEN STATE OPEN AT CONCORD
HILTON: The advertised chess rate is $99,
but it has been reduced to $88, and only $79 for seniors age 62 or over! Please reserve rooms
only directly with the hotel, so you get the lowest rate and the chess
tournament is credited with your room.
To avoid huge ballroom rent,
most of our tournaments count on having many players use guest rooms at the host
hotel, and asking for the chess rate gives the tournament credit. For all
tournaments, please stay at the tournament site whenever possible and ask for
the chess rate. Thank you for your help!
