$20,000 GUARANTEED PRIZE FUND

 

      In 7 sections (rated players may play up one section):     

Master Section (2200/up): $2000-1000-500-300, clear or tiebreak 1st $100 bonus, top Under 2400 $800-400.  FIDE rated.   
      Expert Section
(2000-2199):
$1400-700-400-200.
      Class A Section
(1800-1999/Unr): $1400-700-400-200.

      Class B Section (1600-1799/Unr): $1400-700-400-200.
      Class C Section
(1400-1599/Unr): $1200-600-400-200.
      Class D Section
(1200-1399/Unr): $1000-500-300-200.
      Class E Section
(Under 1200/Unr): $500-250-150-100, plaques to first 3, top U1000, U800, U600, Unrated.

      Unrated may not win over $150 in E, $300 D, $450 C, $600 B, or $750 A; balance goes to next player(s) in line.


MIXED DOUBLES BONUS PRIZES: best male/female 2-player "team" combined score among all sections: $800-400-200. Team average rating must be under 2200; teammates may play in different sections; teams must register (no extra fee) by 2 pm 6/18; teammate pairings avoided but possible. Prize limits do not apply to mixed doubles prizes.

 

Top 6 sections entry fee: $105 online at chessaction.com by 6/15, $110 phoned to 406-896-2038 by 6/13 (entry only, no questions), 3-day $108, 2-day $107 if check mailed by 6/8, $120 at site or online until 2 hours before round 1.


Class E Section entry fee:
All $50 less than top 6 sections entry fee.

All sections:
No checks at site, credit cards OK. Re-entry $50, not available to go from Master to Master. GMs free, $80 deducted from prize.  


Special 1 year USCF dues with paper magazine if paid with entry. Online at chesstour.com, Adult $35, Young Adult $22, Scholastic $15.  Mailed, phoned or paid at site, Adult $40, Young Adult $25, Scholastic $17. USCF membership required.

2-day schedule:
Reg. ends Sat. 10 am, rds Sat 11 am, 2 pm & 5 pm, Sun 10 am & 3:15 pm.

Half point byes: OK all, limit 2, Open must commit before rd 2, others before rd 3.

Ratings:  June official USCF rating list used.  Unofficial uschess.org ratings usually used if otherwise unrated.  FIDE ratings not used for US players.
