Prize limits:
         1) Players with under 26 lifetime games rated through May 2010 official rating list may not win over $500 U1000, $1500 U1300 or $2500 U1500. Games rated too late for May 2010 list not counted.
         2) If more than 30 points over section maximum on any list May 2009-April 2010, prize limit $1500.
         3) Unrated (0-3 lifetime games rated) cannot win over $200 in U1000, $400 U1300, $800 U1500, $1200 U1700, $1600 U1900 or $2000 U2100. Unofficial uschess.org ratings based on 4 or more games usually used if otherwise unrated. 
         4) Balance of any limited prize goes to next player(s) in line.

            3-day schedule: (U1300 to U2100): Reg. ends Sat 10 am, Rds. Sat 11 am, 2:30 pm & 6 pm, Sun 11 am & 6 pm, Mon 10 am & 4:30 pm.
            2-day schedule (U1300 to U2100): Reg. ends Sun 9 am, Rds. Sun 10 am, 12 noon, 2 pm, 3:45 pm & 6 pm, Mon 10 am & 4:30 pm.

            Half point byes: OK all, limit 4 (limit 2 in last 4 rds), Open must commit before rd 2, others before rd 4.

Hotel rates: $98-98-98-98.  As of May 28, the chess rate is still available, but only at this phone number: 847-777-6500.  The 800 number will tell you that chess rooms are not available.

US player ratings: May official rating list used; FIDE ratings used in Open Section, however, if USCF is more than 100 points above FIDE, an adjusted USCF rating may be used.

Special rules: 1) Players must submit to a search for electronic devices if requested by Director.  In round 3 or after, players with scores of 80% or over and their opponents may not use headphones, earphones, cellphones, or go to a different floor of the hotel without Director permission.
