In 4 sections:

Open Section: $1000-500-250, clear or tiebreak 1st $100, top Under 2250/Unr $550-250.

Under 2050 Section: $800-400-200, top Under 1850 (no unrated) $500-250.

Under 1650 Section: $700-350-200, top Under 1450 $300-150.  No unrated may win over $500.

Under 1250 Section: $400-200-100, plaques to top Under 1000, Under 800, Under 600, Unr.  No unrated may win over $200.  

Balance of any limited prize goes to next player(s) in line.

Mixed doubles bonus prizes: best male/female 2-player “team” combined score among all sections: $200-100. Team average rating must be under 2200; teammates may play in different sections; teams must register (no extra fee) by 8/15 2 pm; teammate pairings avoided but possible.

Top 3 sections entry fee: $85 online at chessaction.com by 8/13, 3-day $93, 2-day $92 mailed by 8/5, $95 phoned to 406-896-2038 by 8/10 (entry only, no questions), $100 at site, or online until 2 hours before rd 1. Online EF $10 less to Fresno Chess Club members.

Under 1250 Section entry fee: All $30 less than above.

GMs, IMs & WGMs free, $80 deducted from prize.

All: Special 1 year USCF dues with paper magazine if paid with entry: online at chesstour.com, Adult $30, Young Adult $20, Scholastic $15.  Mailed, phoned or paid at site, Adult $40, Young Adult $30, Scholastic $20. Re-entry $60; not available in Open Section. No checks at site, credit cards OK.  USCF membership required.

3-day schedule: Reg. ends Fri 6:30 pm, Rounds Fri 7 pm, Sat 11 am & 5 pm, Sun 10 am & 3:30 pm.
2-day schedule: Reg. ends Sat 10:30 am, Rounds 11 am, 2 pm & 5 pm, Sun 10 am & 3:30 pm.
Half point byes: OK all rounds, limit 2 byes; limit 1 bye if eligible for class money; must commit before rd 2.

Hotel rates:
$109-109, 559-268-1000, 800-916-4339, request chess rate, reserve by 7/30 (corrected date, not 7/31) or rate may increase. After 7/30, the rate is likely to be increased to $159.
