6th annual World Open Senior Amateur
5SS, 40/110, SD/30, d10. Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Arlington, VA (see World Open for location, rates). Open to all born before 6/29/64 and rated under 2210 or unrated.
There is no 2-day schedule, though some publicity erroneously mentioned 2-day dates. If you want a 2-day schedule, take a bye in round one.

Prizes $3000 based on 50 entries, else in proportion except $1800 (60% each prize) minimum guaranteed. In 2 sections:
 
UNDER 2210 SECTION: $600-300-200, top Under 2010 $350-200.
UNDER 1810 SECTION: $500-250-150, top Under 1610 $300-150.

Entry fee: $80 online at chessaction.com by 6/25, $83 mailed by 6/16, $85 phoned to 406-896-2038 by 6/25, $95 at site until 6 pm 6/27 or online until 5 pm 6/27.

Half point byes OK all rounds, limit 2 byes, must commit before rd 2. Special USCF dues: see World Open.
