37th annual Liberty Bell Open.  7SS, 40/2, SD/1 (3 day option, rds 1-2 G/75; 2 day, rds 1-4 G/45), Adam's Mark Hotel, City Line Ave (Rt 1 near I-76 City Av exit), Philadelphia 19131.  $$20,000 based on 320 paid entries, minimum $10,000 (50% of each prize) guaranteed.  In 7 sections.

Open: $2000-1000-500-300-200, clear winner bonus 200, U2400/Unr 1000-500. If tie for first, top 2 on tiebreak play speed game (white 7 min, black 5 min & gets draw odds) for title & bonus prize.  FIDE rated.

Under 2200:  $1000-600-400-300-200.

Under 2000: $1000-600-400-300-200. 

Under 1800: $1000-600-400-300-200.

Under 1600: $1000-600-400-300-200.

Under 1400: $1000-600-400-300-200.

Under 1200: $800-400-300-200-100.

Unrated may enter any section, but may not win over $100 in U1200, $200 U1400, $300 U1600, $400 U1800, $500 U2000, or $600 U2200. Trophy to top college teams & top scholastic team, all sections count equally, top 4 scores same school added to give team score.

Entry fee: 4 day $99, 3 day $98, 2 day $97 mailed by 1/6, all $96 online at chesstour.com by 1/11, all $105 phoned by 1/11 (406-896-2038, entry only, no questions), all $120 (no checks, credit cards OK) at tmt.  GMs $80 from prize.  $40 less to unrated.  $20 less to rated juniors under 18.  Mailed entry $3 less to PSCF members.  Re entry (except Open Section) $70.  Advance EF $10 less if paid with $49 USCF dues.  Advance EF minus $5 service charge refunded for withdrawals who give notice at least 1 hour before rd 1 (no service charge if fee applied to future CCA tmts).

4-day schedule: Reg ends Fri  7 pm, rds Fri 8, Sat 11-6, Sun 11-6, Mon 10-4:30. 
3-day schedule: Reg ends Sat 10 am, rds.Sat 11-2:30-6, Sun 11-6, Mon 10-4:30. 
2-day schedule: Reg ends Sun 9 am, rds Sun 10-12-2-4-6, Mon 10-4:30. 
Half point byes: all, limit 2, rounds 3-7 must commit before rd 2.
