The Sheraton Hotel (the tournament site) has had some recent room cancellations, and some hotel rooms are now available!

However, these rooms are not available using the hotel reservations link. Instead, please call the Sheraton Hotel directly at 215- 448-2000 and ask for Anthony between 9 am – 5 pm, Monday - Friday (if he is not available, ask for the Sales Office). If you call outside of these hours the Front Desk might be able to help you; if not, then we recommend that you call Anthony or the Sales Office during normal business hours.

If rooms are not available the first time you call the hotel, you can calling them later to see if they have received any new cancellations since you first called.

The Sheraton also has a limited number of complimentary rollaway beds (must be reserved at time of check-in: first come, first served). Additional rollaway beds are available for $30 per night, but must also be reserved when checking in.

If the Sheraton Hotel does not have rooms available, we have an overflow block of hotel sleeping rooms at the Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square Hotel, 1800 Market Street in Philadelphia, about a ten-minute walk (4/10 mile), according to Google Maps, from the tournament site at the Sheraton Hotel. The Chess Rate at the Sonesta is $144 per night:

The hotel valet parking at the Sonesta for Sunday – Thursday is $56 per night; for Friday - Saturday: $52 per night.
