All players compete for all the individual prizes for which they are eligible.  Players who qualify for a top place trophy, plaque or medal as well as a rating class trophy, plaque or medal will receive the place award (place prizes, for which all players are eligible, take precedence over class prizes, which are limited only to players in that rating class).  If two or more players in a section attend the same school, they also compete for team prizes on behalf of their school.  The four highest-scoring players from a school produce the school’s team score for that section (teams of two or three players are allowed, but are at a disadvantage).
