PRIZES $250,000 based on 1100 paid entries (seniors, re-entries, U1200 Section, GMs, WGMs count as 50% entries, rated players in Under 900 as 25% entries, Unrated in Under 900 or Under 1400 not counted.) Free analysis of your games by GM Sam Palatnik; free lectures by other GMs 9 am 7/3 & 7/4.

Open Section: $20000-10000-5000-2500-1200-1000-800-700-600-500, clear winner bonus $200, top FIDE Under 2500 or Unrated $2000-1000. If tie for first, top 2 on tiebreak play speed game 7/5 11:30 pm (white 5 minutes, black 3 minutes & gets draw odds, 5 second delay) for title & bonus prize. GM & IM norms possible. FIDE rated.
Under 2400/Unr Section: $13000-7000-3000-2000-1000-900-800-700-600-500, top Under 2300 $2000-1000. FIDE rated, IM norms possible in 5-day & 7-day schedules.
Under 2200 Section: $13000-7000-3000-2000-1000-900-800-700-600-500, top Under 2100 $2000-1000.
Under 2000 Section: $13000-7000-3000-2000-1000-900-800-700-600-500, top Under 1900 $2000-1000.

Prize limits: 1) Players with under 26 games played as of 7/10 list may not win over $500 in U900, $1500 in U1200, $3000 U1400 or U1600. Games rated too late for 7/10 list not counted. 2) Players who had official rating more than 30 points over section maximum any month 7/09-6/10 have a prize limit of $2000. 3) Balance of any limited prize goes to next player(s) in line.

After Scanticon and Radisson are sold out, backup hotel is Dolce (formerly Hilton), $99-99, 610-337-1200, ask for chess rate. However, as of June 18, they were apparently sold out on the night of July 3. Here are some other possibilities:
Best Western is offering an $80 internet rate-
Clarion Park Ridge, 610-337-1800, is the closest hotel to the tournament other than the Radisson and Scanticon. Rates include July 1 $95, July 2 $110, July 3 $110, July 4 $75, July 5 $80.
Hampton Inn, 610-962-8111, has a $99 rate for two beds in room including a hot breakfast.
