Open to 4-player teams; one alternate optional. Team must play in rating order; alternate must be lowest rated and may play only Board 4. FEBRUARY 2004 RATING SUPPLEMENT USED. The February supplement will not be issued late and we will definitely not use the Dec 2003 list instead.
In 3 sections:
Amateur Section, average rating of 4 highest players under
2200.
Booster Section, average rating of 4 highest players under 1800.
Reserve Section, average rating of 4 highest players under 1400.
Unrateds are not counted in team averages. Absent player counts as one loss only for team;
teammates are not required to "move up."
Entry fee: Amateur $113, Booster $112, Reserve $111 if mailed by 2/5, all $110 online at chesstour.com by 2/11, $140 at site. No phone entries. Any changes at site, $20 charge. Individuals seeking teams: sign up at site until one hour before rd 1. USCF membership required.
Prizes: 4 clocks with engraved plates to top 3 teams each section, top Under 2000 team in Amateur, Under 1600 team in Booster, Under 1200 team in Reserve. Clock with engraved plate to top scorer each board and all 5-0 scores. Book prizes to best team name.
