ONLINE ENTRY PROBLEMS?

A common source of trouble entering online occurs when you fill in your information, click to continue, and nothing happens.  This problem is caused by leaving a required field blank.  The required fields are in bold, and the program will not allow you to proceed if you leave a bold field blank.

Another issue with new users of the shopping cart is that they somehow place two identical entries in their basket, then complain that they were overcharged.  The shopping cart program was written for products, and doesn't know that no one wants two identical tournament entries for the same player, so if you inadvertantly ask for such double entries, you will get them.  Before you input your credit card number, please check the fee total displayed on the screen and if it is double what it should be, go to the top of the page, click "basket contents," and change the "2" to a "1."  If you have trouble doing this, you can also log out of your browser, or if necessary reboot your computer, and try again.  If you don't reboot, when you come back a second time be sure to check the entry fee total on the screen to make sure that your earlier attempt is gone.


WAS MY ONLINE ENTRY RECEIVED?

Please disregard any message which states "Network Unreachable" or "Could Not Send Email." Once you receive the message "THANK YOU FOR YOUR ORDER"  along with an order number, that means your order has been processed (DO NOT re-purchase the same order again, or you will be charged twice!).  Usually you will also receive a confirming email, but occasionally the program fails to do this.  If your order number appears on the screen, YOUR ENTRY IS CONFIRMED even if you did not receive an email.

Advance entries are also posted on this website (link in middle of home page), but often the first post for a tournament goes up a week or two before the event, and if we are very busy there may be only one advance entry post for a tournament, on the day before it begins.

We ask that you print out your confirmation, showing your order number, and bring it with you to the tournament, as it will make things easier for us in the unlikely event there is a problem with your entry.  If you failed to print it out, bring your order number if possible.  NOTE: If you have no printout and didn't record your order number, don't worry and PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US ASKING FOR THEM; we will NOT look them up as on the average this is far more difficult for us than having players arrive at the tournament without order numbers.     

If your online entry is "timed out" and you try again but get "Please do not reload this page, your order has already been processed," this means that YOUR ORDER HAS ALREADY BEEN PROCESSED!  Do not enter again or you will be charged twice!  "Your order has already been processed" is a confirmation that your entry went through.  In general, most entries that are "timed out" after entering credit card info go through OK.  

Occasionally your internet connection or our website may be down temporarily.  If you can't access online entries, try again an hour or two later.  If you still can't get through after a few tries, send us an email and let us know. Do not go to the tournament expecting to say "online entry didn't work, so I will pay the advance entry fee at the door."  NO ADVANCE ENTRY FEES ARE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR!
