39th annual Liberty Bell Open.  7SS, 40/2, SD/1 (3 day option, rds 1-2 G/75; 2 day, rds 1-4 G/45), Sheraton City Center Hotel (formerly Wyndham), 17th & Race Sts., Philadelphia PA 19103.  $89 room rates, special parking $5/day for all players (even if no guest room).

Open Section: $2000-1000-500-300-200, 1st clear or on tiebreak 200 bonus, U2400/Unr 1000-500. FIDE rated.

Under 2200 Section:  $1000-600-400-300-200.

Under 2000 Section: $1000-600-400-300-200. 

Under 1800 Section: $1000-600-400-300-200.

Under 1600 Section: $1000-600-400-300-200.

Under 1400 Section: $1000-600-400-300-200.

Under 1200 Section: $800-400-300-200-100.

Unrated may enter any section, but may not win over $100 in U1200, $200 U1400, $300 U1600, $400 U1800, $500 U2000, or $600 U2200.

Trophy to top college team, all sections count equally, top 4 scores same school added to give team score.

Entry fee: 4 day $99, 3 day $98, 2 day $97 mailed by 1/4, all $100 online at chesstour.com by 1/9, all $105 phoned by 1/9 (406-896-2038, credit card entry only, no questions, no changes), $120 (no checks, credit cards OK) at site.  GMs $80 from prize. $40 less to unrated.  $20 less to rated players in U1200 Section.    Mailed entry $3 less to PSCF members.  Re entry (except Open Section) $70.  Advance EF $10 less if paid with $49 USCF dues.  Advance EF minus $10 service charge refunded for withdrawals who give notice at least 1 hour before rd 1 (no service charge if fee applied to future CCA tmts).

4-day schedule: Reg ends Fri 6 pm, rds Fri 7 pm, Sat 11-6, Sun 11-6, Mon 10-4:30. 
3-day schedule: Reg ends Sat 10 am, rds. Sat 11-2:30-6, Sun 11-6, Mon 10-4:30. 
2-day schedule: Reg ends Sun 9 am, rds Sun 10-12-2-4-6, Mon 10-4:30. 
Half point byes: OK all, limit 3, Open must commit before rd 2, other sections before rd 4. 

Hotel rates:  $89-89-89-89, 215-448-2000, reserve by 12/29 or rate may increase.   

Parking:  Special chess rate $5 per day.  All players eligible, you don't need a guest room at the hotel.
