    Open Section: Open to players who are rated 2200/over by USCF, 2100/over by FIDE or pay $100 extra.

    Under 1900 Section: $5000-2500-1200-800-600-500-400-300-300-300.

    Under 1500 Section: $4000-2000-1000-700-500-400-300-300-300-300.

    Under 1000 Section: $1000-500-300-200-200-150-150-100-100-100.  Unrated limit $200.
 

Unrated allowed only in Open, Under 2300, Under 2100, or Under 1000 sections.
 

Prize limits: 1) If any post-event or official Regular OTB or Regular Online rating posted 5/24/21 - 5/24/22 was more than 30 points over section maximum, prize limit $1500.  2.) Players with under 26 lifetime games rated as of May 2022 official list cannot win over $500 in U1000, $1000 U1300, $1500 U1500, $2000 U 1700, or $2500 U1900. 3.) Balance of any limited prize goes to next Player(s) in line. 


Mixed Doubles Bonus Prizes: best male/female combined 2-player team score: $2000-1000-500-400-300. For the Open Section, only the first 7 rounds will be counted towards mixed doubles. Team must average under 2200; may play in different sections; register (no extra fee) before both players begin round 2;  teams including an unrated limited to $500.

Open through Under 1300 Sections entry fee: $207 online at chessaction.com by 3/22, $227 online by 5/25, 5-day $235, 4-day $234, 3-day $233, 2-day $232 mailed by 5/15. All $250  online until 2 hours before round 1 or at site until 1 hour before round1.  No checks at site, credit cards OK.  Do not mail entry after 5/15.

Open entry fee for titled players: GMs free; $200 deducted from prize. IMs/WGMs $100; also $100 deducted from prize.  Deductions cannot lower prize to below minimum.

 

Open minimum prize guarantee if entering online by 5/5 and playing all 9 games (no byes):  foreign GM $700, US GM $300, foreign IM/WGM $300, foreign FM $200, foreign FIDE rated $100.

 

Entry fee $100 less to seniors age 65/over, except in U1000 Section.

Under 1000 Section entry fee:    $67 online at chessaction.com by 5/25, 4-day $74, 3-day $73, 2-day $72 mailed by 5/15, all $90 online until 2 hours before round 1 or at site until 1 hour before round 1.

2-day schedule
 (U2300 to U1500): Reg. ends Sun 9 am, rounds Sun 10, 12, 2, 3:45 & 6, Mon 10 & 4:30. 
Under 1300 and Under 1000 schedules: 
Same as U2300 to U1500 (4-day, 3-day & 2-day options), except last round Mon is 3:30

4-day, 3-day & 2-day schedules merge & compete for same prizes. 
Byes:
 OK all, limit 3 (limit 2 in last 4 rds), must commit before rd 3.

For all tournaments, adjusted FIDE or foreign ratings, if higher than USCF, may be used. Players must disclose FIDE or foreign ratings when entering, or may later be expelled. Other over the board ratings such as club, league, scholastic, state or province, etc, adjusted if appropriate, may also be used at our discretion if above USCF and must be disclosed.  No rating below the latest official USCF rating, on the list corresponding to the ending date of the tournament, will be used.
